No other holiday destination beats Goa. Situated on the West Coast of India, touching the Arabian Sea, Goa is well known for tourism, fisheries and iron ore mining industries. The State enjoys a favourable climate throughout the year, with average temperatures ranging from 20-36 degrees Celsius. June through September is known as the South West Monsoon Season and is considered to be the most wet season for the State with 90% of annual rainfall recorded during this season.

Goa is one of India's historic treasures and has contributed a lot to the culinary and cultural table as well. In the beginning, various rulers tried to take advantage of the State and its wealth. The Portuguese ruled Goa for 400 years before the Indian Army took over in 1961.

Panaji is the capital city which also serves as the headquarters of the northern district. It is undoubtedly the most fascinating city with its colorful history, heritage sites and monuments, all deeply rooted in Goa's early history which makes it a must-visit spot on your itinerary.

Goa is synonymous with beaches. One of the best ones in the area is Calangute Beach, located just 1 kilometer from our hotel. With 10 kilometers of golden sands that shimmer in the sunlight and stars that compete at night, there is no other place quite like it. The Calangute stretches into the Baga Beach in one contiguous flow, with the Baga Brook flowing into it. Baga Beach is a great place to enjoy parasailing, dolphin watching or other water-sport activities. Take some time out of your trip to explore all the gorgeous beaches of North Goa.
